Factory Relocation – Including Mechanical and Electrical Dismantling and Reassembly

Not just moving. We dismantle, document, transport and reassemble your production lines – through full mechanical and electrical assembly, including the electrical cabinets.

Relocating a factory is not just moving

When you relocate a factory, the transport is the easy part. The hard part is what happens before and after it: correctly disconnecting power, air and water, dismantling machines without damaging them, documenting every connection – and reassembling everything at the new site so the line is ready to run the way it did before.

A moving company knows how to load and unload. We handle the entire chain – from disconnection at the old plant to full reassembly at the new one – under the responsibility of a single contractor. Since 1995 we have relocated more than 780 production lines in the paper and printing, plastics, metal and food industries, in Israel and in more than 10 countries.

How a factory relocation works – step by step

  1. Site survey and planning. Mapping the machines, connections and transport route, and building a work plan with a schedule and risk management.
  2. Preparing the new site. Foundations, marking, drilling and infrastructure – so every machine arrives at a location that is ready for it.
  3. Disconnection, documentation and dismantling. Disconnecting electrical and mechanical connections, removing floor anchors, and marking and documenting every step for reassembly.
  4. Rigging, packing and transport. Our own forklifts, machinery skates and jacks – including a robotic transport skate – plus cranes from Israel’s leading crane companies. Packing and crating where needed, and coordinating permits and escorts with the authorities.
  5. Reassembly at the new site. Positioning, alignment and leveling, and mechanical assembly including compressed-air piping.
  6. Electrical assembly and handover. Assembling all of the line’s electrical systems, including the electrical cabinets, and an orderly handover to the customer.

How we shorten downtime

  • Planning before touching a single bolt. A schedule for every machine, so dismantling starts only when the new location is ready to receive it.
  • Relocating in stages. Where possible, lines are moved one at a time, so part of the plant keeps producing.
  • Full documentation. Every connection is marked before dismantling, and reassembly follows the documentation.
  • One team from start to finish. No handing off responsibility between contractors.

International factory relocation

Dismantling a production line in Israel, crating, shipping and reassembly in the destination country – or the other way around. We have carried out installations in more than 10 countries, including relocating an extruder from Israel to Mexico, and have worked alongside equipment manufacturers from Italy, Germany, Austria and the USA.

Factory relocation – frequently asked questions

Do you also transport the machines?

Yes. We coordinate all transport – cranes, special haulage, permits and escorts – as part of the project, so there is no need to hire separate contractors.

How much does a factory relocation cost?

The price depends on the number of machines, their weight, the distance and the complexity of the connections. That is why we provide a quote after a site survey.

How long does a factory relocation take?

It depends on the scope. We build the exact schedule together with you during planning – including when each line goes down and when it is ready at the new site.

Where do you work?

The company is based in Kiryat Gat, Israel, and carries out projects throughout Israel and abroad.

How do you handle safety?

Every project starts with risk management, and our teams work with personal protective equipment and lifting equipment that is inspected on schedule. More about our safety practices.
