Complex Projects: Factory Relocation, Production Lines and Machine Installation
Hundreds of truckloads, lines tens of meters long and moves between countries. A few of the complex projects we have completed – from working condition to working condition.

Factory relocation and production line installation – when the project is big and complicated
Some of our jobs are single machine installations. Others take months of planning, tens or even hundreds of containers and truckloads, and very high precision in positioning and leveling. Here are some of the complex projects we have carried out: relocating entire factories from working condition to working condition, moving production lines abroad, and installing new production lines and systems alongside international equipment manufacturers.
What they all have in common: one team responsible for the whole chain – from dismantling and documentation, through transport, to full mechanical and electrical reassembly at the new site. How factory relocation works with us.
Factory relocation · 2023–2024
Kaniel – relocating an entire plant from Kfar Saba to Kiryat Gat
We relocated the Kaniel metal packaging plant from Kfar Saba to its new site in Kiryat Gat. The project covered two huge departments – a press shop with 10 presses and 3 sheet-metal shearing machines, and 10 production lines for cans of all sizes – plus a brand-new production line built at the new plant. Around 300 truckloads of machine parts, all moved from working condition to working condition.
This project also has a family history: about 15 years ago, company founder Yossi Gur moved the same plant from Petah Tikva to Kfar Saba. In 2023–2024 we moved it again, this time to Kiryat Gat – led by Ram and Or, who have managed the company since 2018, with Yossi still with us in the field.
International production line relocation
Avgol – relocating a nonwoven production line from Barkan, Israel to India
We dismantled a nonwoven fabric production line in the Barkan industrial zone, packed and shipped it in about 113 containers – some of them special Flat Rack and Open Top containers for oversized parts – and rebuilt the line in India.
What made it possible was the documentation: every part and every connection was marked and documented before dismantling. Our team flew to India and, together with a local contractor working from our documentation, brought the line back to working condition – about a month ahead of the planned schedule.
Production line relocation
Kimberly-Clark – relocating paper lines from Hadera to Mevo'ot HaGilboa
We relocated complex paper production lines – rewinders, log saws and robotic packing lines – from an old plant in Hadera to a plant in Mevo’ot HaGilboa. The age of the plant and the condition of the equipment raised real concern about whether the lines could be dismantled, moved and brought back into proper operation at all. That concern was not only the customer’s: other contractors who were asked to bid declined, because of the commitment to bring such old, complex lines back into production and the capabilities the job demanded. Y. Gur Projects was the only company that submitted a quote and took the project on.
The lines were relocated and back in operation, with a cumulative gain of about a month and a half on the schedule.
Following this project, the Italian equipment manufacturer Fabio Perini entrusted us with building its new line at the Clear plant in Beer Sheva.
New production line installation
Kimberly-Clark, Afula – installing a Huggies diaper production line
Installation of a diaper production line about 70 meters long at the Kimberly-Clark plant in Afula. The machine parts arrived in about 90 containers and were assembled into one continuous production line – from raw material to packed product.
The main challenge was precision. A line running at these speeds requires positioning, leveling and alignment of the highest standard, so that every module along the 70 meters works as one system.
Sorting & conveying systems
BEUMER Group – installing sorting, conveyor and check-in systems at Ben Gurion Airport
A project of about six months in Terminals 1 and 3 at Ben Gurion Airport: installation of sorting systems, conveyors and check-in counters for BEUMER Group – inside an operating airport.
